Description :
Access to health care is vital. In times of COVID-19, it is even more important to ense that everyone has access to quality care to adequately treat complicated cases. Preparedness and the timely establishment of adequate health and treatment facilities is key.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is engaged in the construction of the largest treatment center in the country and has the capacity to cover all our needs in terms of responding to COVID-19 in the Cabo Delgado province, especially in the city of Pemba.
The Mozambique Minister of Health visited the facility. Once completed, both facilities will be handed over to the health authorities.
