Description : How often would you wash your hands with soap and water if you were living through a conflict or war ? In Al-Hol camp, kids carry water to their crowded tents for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. In Yemen basic infrastructure is shattered in several cities and people walk miles to fill jerry cans. People fleeing violence in Burkina Faso are in desperate need of food and shelter. How often could you wash your hands in conditions like these? The International Committee of the Red-Cross (ICRC) is working hard to bring clean water to people affected by conflict, helping restore access to water supplies, and bringing water closer to home.
