Description : In response to the suspension of Allouk water station and the interruption of water supply system in Hassakeh city, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) installed 60 central water tanks in different parts of Hassakeh city. They are filled daily with 600 cubic meters of drinkable water. This intervention doesn't meet the minimum needs of the popualtion. Indeed in light of the outbreak of COVID-19, the needs are important: to apply preventive measures against the spread of the pandemic, and to maintain personnal hygiene in addition to the high temperatures.
