In Kachin State, Myanmar, masks help women who have fled confilct to earn a living. How? The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provides the fabric and thread. Seventy-three women tailors provide the passion and expertise. The masks are given to almost 30,000 people to protect against COVID-19.
Masks saves lives, but they can also represent hard work and a hope for the future.
