Fighting in northern Ethiopia has triggered a humanitarian crisis. In Mekelle, the capital of Tigray, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is reconnecting people with their loved ones. Health care facilities are in urgent need of medical support to care for the wounded. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works closely with the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) to provide humanitarian assistance since the fighting started on the 4th of November 2020.
