Description :
Gerezghier Belay has sought refuge in Um Raquba camp, in Sudan. He is one of over 53,000 ethiopian refugees who fled to Sudan in 2020. The suddenness of the fighting in Tigray region led to a lot of family separation. By end of 2020, together with the Sudan Red Crescent the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) facilitated over 7,000 successful 3 minutes calls connecting separated family members.
