Description : Interview with Jérome Fontana, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Cairo.
Ancient Egypt has left a wealth of knowledge that is a real treasure for humanity. Yet the country still has so much to offer in terms of culture, civilization and knowledge. The head of the ICRC delegation proposes to discover other facets of Egypt: Egyptian literature, the country's Muslim history or its strategic position, which links not only the Middle East and North Africa but also Europe and the African continent. He also talks about the ICRC's work in the country, whether it is in helping victims of armed conflict or, with the Egyptian Red Crescent Society and other partners, in restoring family links for migrants.
