Description :
Climate crisis are real, here is what the look like: blazing temperatures, erratic rainfall, driy wells, failed crops. The climate crisis is devastating Burkina Faso. Animals no longer have enough to eat. Neither do people.
On top of the climate crisis, armed conflict makes even harder for communities to survive. Violence has forced one million displaced people to seek safety in other villages, which adds more strain on scare food and water supplies. Herders cannot move with their animals due to the threat of atacks.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) work with the population to respond to some of its most urgent needs and to identify more durable solutions.
