Description :
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is officially leaving the Kasai region in central Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on 30 June 2021.
Four years after launching activities to assist communities affected by violence in this part of the country, the ICRC has noted an improvement in the humanitarian situation and is withdrawing to focus on the areas most affected by armed conflict (Ituri, North Kivu, etc.).
