Description :
Everyone plays an essential role in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Some provide medical care, some promote hygiene , some make the masks that thousands of us wear. This is their story.
To help with the production of face masks, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provided all the necessary materials, such as fabrics and thread. In Kachin State, the ICRC supports 77 crafters with income-generating programs, which have so far produced more than 120,000 reusable face masks. Some are also service users of Myitkyina’s physical rehabilitation center.
