The residents of the Jordan Valley suffer from lack of water, which has affected the crops and livestock alike, the only sources of livelihood for the residents of the area, not to mention that they themselves cannot survive without drinkable water. In addition to the environmental challenges they must deal with, they also face restrictions on water access, imposed by the settlement expansion in the area.
