Description :
In Syria, The Al-Alouk water station which serves Hassakeh, city nd surrounding areas has been stopped several times which led to malfunctions in the station and it was no longer sufficiently serviced.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) repaired five pumps and connected four new wells in Al-Alouk station. These reparations were done on December 2020, which really increased the quantity of water to the residents
The ICRC with the SARC, the Syrian national society od Red Crescent, are providing the station with the main needed equipment and repairing by assisting water board in Hassakeh to ensure a continuous water supply and provision from Allouk pumping station.
