Many farmers in the West Bank make a living from olive oil production that needs year-round care.
However, in certain areas, they need permits, or prior coordination to be granted by the Israeli army, to access their lands, which are often denied. The lack of regular and safe access causes productivity to get lower, affecting farmers and their families’ livelihoods.
