Description :
The Gaza youth is separated from the rest of the world by movement restrictions. Having lived through four military operations and countless escalations, most of them feel that the suffocating economy has little to offer for their future. How does one cope with this reality? Mohammed Abu Ghanem, a 24-year-old Palestinian from Gaza found freedom in surfing. Through his story, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) aims at shedding the light on the challenges facing the young people of Gaza and what coping mechanisms they have.
