Description :
International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in cooperation Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), conducted a field visit to Kafar Houd village in north rural Hama to follow up on provision of reassembled irrigation mobile engines for operating boreholes water pumps under the livelihood initiatives program of the economic security (EcoSec).
The area of implementation are villages in the northern countryside within Muhardeh district, the project is targeting 671 farmers within the whole area and 161 in Kafar Houd. A first visit took place in 2019, and in 2021 another visit took place to follow up on the impact of the project.
