Description : The film "Gaza taxi" contains testimonies of people living in Gaza as they talk to a taxi driver (one of them happens to be an International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) beneficiary of orthopedics services).
Through the voice of the driver and his passengers, “Gaza taxi” shows the first-person perspective of Gazans after the 15 years of closure. The stories highlights the impact of the situation on mental health of women, the lack of advanced medical care and delayed permits, the struggles of an amputee who was helped by the ICRC and now has his successful project.
It’s a long format film, which unfolds slowly and captivates the audience with authentic voices, stories and emotions. As the drive continues, the viewers realize how small and confined Gaza is to live a normal life.
