Description :
Rafik Hariri University Hospital (RHUH) did not have the means to meet increasing needs due to a lack of human resources, lack of drugs and consumables and deteriorating infrastructure.
Thanks to the partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Agence Française pour le Développement (AFD) and the RHUH, many infrastructures have been replaced.
Before this partnership, less than 40% of the RHUH beds were operational. More than 100 beds were reinstated. This increase the hospital's capacity to receive patients.
Between 2016 and 2020, this project has included nearly 50 rehabilitation interventions.
