Description :
Angelique Appeyroux, head of operations for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine visits Kostyantynivka, where a distribution of relief items for 500 households takes place.
This is part of massive assistance program in Ukraine where ICRC is targeting 2,000 families affected by conflict in this region. Kostyantynivka is a population very close to the frontline. These people have lost their access to jobs and basic needs as a result of the hostilities in the region. The majority are internally dispaced people coming from villages near the frontline. This assistance is focused on the most vulnerable people in the area, the elderly, women with children, and people with disabilities trying to cover their basic needs for at least three months.
