Over 3.5 millions Kenyans in 23 counties face severe food insecurity due to prolonged drought.
In response to Lamu drought, this video showing the plight of the local communities in the Boni villages and voices from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Kenya Red Cross society staff member about the operations on the ground.
The ICRC in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross society has been scaling up operations in Lamu, Wajir, Mandera, and Garissa with food and livestock support to assist the local communities.
