Gamil lives in Marjeh neighbourhood, east of Aleppo city in Syria. He was injured by an anti-personnel mine, and he suffered for a long time.
He was told by a relative about the micro business support grants provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
He submitted his own business proposal and received the grant.
Now, he has become a self-reliant tailor and is thinking of starting a family.
