Description :
Since February 2022, hostilities in Ukraine have impacted the entire school-aged population – 5.7 million children aged 3 to 18 – due to the nation-wide closure of schools and other education facilities.
Early September, the school yera has just started and many children don't have schools to return to. The teachers must also deal with the dangers of teaching during the armed conflict.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) supports repairs to damaged buildings, distribution of learning material, IT resources, mental health and psychological supports for techers, risk awareness and safe behaviour training and protection of education through humanitarian dialogue.
