Hlaing Hlaing Oo is only 13 years old.
On a winter day in 2021, Hlaing Hlaing Oo stepped on a landmine in a field near her house.
Hlaing Hlaing Oo is now having her physical rehabilitation training and new prosthesis in Kyaing Tong Physical Rehabilitation Centre. Hlaing Hlaing Oo is not giving up. Her story is unique but she’s not alone.
Across Myanmar, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) work with landmine survivors from all communities, helping them participate fully in society.
