Description :
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) team in Budapest joined thousands of participants for the 2023 March of the Living.The march, which has been running since 1988, honours victims of the Holocaust but also remembers the people who rescued and the people who took action in those moments and took risks to try to save Jewish people’s lives. One such person, was ICRC delegate, Friedrich Born. In 1987, Born was posthumously awarded Righteous Among the Nations. 2023 marks the 120th anniversary of his birth.
