Description :
Consolée Rukindo is a footballer.and a para taekwondo gold medalist. In 2017, she won this medal at the African championship. In 2022, she doubles as the goalkeeper for Rwanda's first amputee football team.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works with different partners to promotoe societal integration of persons with disabilities through its Physical rehabilitation program.
In Rwanda, the ICRC helped establish the Rwanda amputee fotball association (RAFA) and Rwanda wheelchair balsketball federation (RWBF).
