Description : Hassana is a social activist who doesn't have a missing person, but has been advocating for the right to know and supporting families for the past 41 years by attending all their events and workshops and protests. Held on the 30th of August 2023, the International Day of the Disappeared gives us the opportunity to observe and recognize the number of people who have gone missing through conflict, migration and natural disasters, and to show solidarity towards all who have been affected. Since 2012, the ICRC has been in contact with the families of missing persons to involve them in the process of gathering information about their missing loved ones.
