On the 30th of August 2023, at the occasion of the International Day of the Disappeared, families of the missing decide to create a notebook from scratch holding the faces of their loved missing ones to keep their memory alive. Since 2012, the ICRC has been in contact with the families of missing persons to involve them in the process of gathering information about their missing loved ones.
