Description :
An ICRC team used megaphones to alert residents that they can be assisted. On the 4th floor of an apartment building, the ICRC team found Susanna, an elderly cancer patient who was alone, and unable to get out of her bed. She also recently underwent colostomy surgery, she had signs of mild dehydration, anemia, and malnutrition. Neighbors had left her with food and water several days beforehand, but her supplies were running low. She had finished all her medication and could not take care of herself. The neighbors could not take her with them, and while she waited for help, she had started to lose all hope. After ensuring she was stable, she was evacuated by ambulance.
