In Gaza, over 30,000 have been people killed, and more than 1.5 million people are homeless. Since October 7th, the ICRC has been working tirelessly to alleviate people’s suffering. ICRC surgical teams has provided lifesaving care to over 2,000 patients. ICRC facilitated the reunification of more than 100 hostages with their loved ones. ICRC ensured clean water for over 300,000 people. ICRC set up community kitchens, providing meals to hundreds of families a day, and helped thousands of people cover their day-to-day needs.
