Description :
Humanitarian corridors are vital lifelines, offering safe passage for those fleeing armed conflicts. When people are cut off from medical services,
or hospitals are no longer able to function, the ICRC try to evacuate the sick and wounded. The ICRC call for humanitarian corridors to accompany people to safety without fear of them, or the ICRC, being attacked. This only works when all sides in a conflict trust the ICRC to work purely as neutral humanitarians. The ICRC takes action, not sides.
