Description :
In the far north of Cameroon, the Lake Chad crisis that has affected the region since 2014 has driven around a hundred thousand people to flee their homes mainly to the interior of the country in search of peace. During these displacements, families are separated, men, women and children disappear. Years later, families of missing persons continue to wonder about the fate of their loved ones. Whatever the reasons for the separation, the impact is the same: when a loved one disappears, anguish sets in and the family is unable to mourn.
Testimonials from Aïcha, Abouor Abba Kaou, Fana Biri and Alhadji Modou, a Cameroon Red Cross volunteer.
