Description :
Edna is the mother of Álef, 17, who was killed along with six other young people in an episode of armed violence. Despite dealing with the loss of her son, Edna transforms her grief into struggle on a daily basis, working actively in the NGOs Mães do Curió and Mães da Periferia to help other women who suffer the impacts of violence.
The second season of the online series ‘It's more than you see’ was produced by the International Committee of the Red Cross. The 5 episodes illustrate the ‘invisible’ effects of armed violence in Brazil on the civilian population.
