Description : The current situation is extremely worrying compared with previous years. Cumulative rainfall exceeds 130%, and river levels continue to rise. More than 460,000 people are affected, 56,000 homes have been damaged, and thousands of hectares of land have been destroyed, leading to the disappearance of many animals.

In response to this crisis, the Federation and the French Red Cross have joined forces to strengthen the organizational and operational capacities of the Cameroon Red Cross. For its part, the ICRC is also supporting the Cameroon Red Cross by providing inputs for the production of chlorine, essential for improving the quality of drinking water.
