The ICRC has been working in the Philippines since the Second World War, establishing a permanent presence in 1982. This video gives an overview of the ICRC's activities in the country, highlighting its efforts to support people affected by the internal armed conflict in Mindanao and to work with the national authorities to find solutions to the humanitarian problems caused mainly by extreme overcrowding in places of detention.
