Description :
Hlaing Thet Htar is an orthoprosthetist at the Kyaing Tong Physical Rehabilitation Center. She explains that prostheses need to be molded as closely as possible to the bone structure of the limb, so that patients can use them without pain. The hardest part of her job is adapting the prosthesis to the particularities of each limb. Some patients have injuries or scars, while others have fixed or deformed joints. She also explains that she adapts prostheses to patients' daily activities.
Hlaing Thet Htar has had this vocation since she was a little girl, as she enjoys DIY activities, and wants to help people with disabilities.
