Two years since intense fighting broke out in Sudan tens of thousands of people have been killed or wounded, and millions uprooted from their homes. In the last two years, the ICRC has been working tirelessly: orphans caught in the crossfire have been brought to safety, tens of thousands of people received life saving surgery and medical care, hundreds of thousands of people received food, blankets, soap and other essentials, millions had access to clean water, and over 45,000 people torn apart from their loved ones were able to reconnect. But, needs on the ground are still immense.
