Description :
Since February 2022, the ICRC has been helping tens of thousands of people affected by the violence in Ukraine. They have to cope with the loss of their loved ones, fear and the immense difficulties of everyday life.
Over the past twelve months, thanks to the support of donors, several hospitals have been equipped with essential medical equipment, and many people have benefited from life-saving treatment. These donations have also enabled the rebuilding of crucial infrastructures that provide heating, lighting and food. They have helped protect children from unexploded ordnance through awareness-raising sessions, and have brought relief to families separated from their missing loved ones.
