Description :
Lyudmila Maliovana, a member of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in the Nikopol district of the city, explains that the people who stayed behind were left homeless. For this reason, it is crucial to support them and make them understand that they are not alone. The beneficiaries have been given humanitarian aid, which includes items they need to get through the winter, such as food, hygiene kits, bedding and heating. Flashlights are also very useful, given the regular power cuts. Lyudmila would like to thank the organizations that are supporting the ICRC and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
The ICRC has distributed 3,000 hygiene articles, 3,000 food parcels, 1,000 blankets, 500 bed sheets, 500 pillows, 500 folding beds, 500 energy banks, 700 lamps, 500 towels and 80 stoves. This aid is vital, especially for families with children, enabling them to access basic needs. It is essential to support centers such as Nikopol, as they are a lifeline for thousands of people affected by the conflict. In total, 3,000 people in these communities have been supported.
