Description :
The use of explosive weapons has contaminated many areas in the Kivu region, endangering the lives of civilians. To prevent accidents, the ICRC works alongside communities by demarcating dangerous areas, raising awareness of the risks and supporting victims. Recently, the ICRC met Franck, aged 11, and Aimédieu, aged 13, both victims of explosive devices in North Kivu.
