Description :
In coordination with the DRC Red Cross, the ICRC recently carried out a food distribution for 50,000 displaced people and returnees living along the Mavivi-Mbau axis in Beni territory, North Kivu province.
Most of these people are being hosted by host families or are living in makeshift shelters in particularly precarious conditions.
Among them, Mrs Anuarite Tsongo, a displaced person living in Mavivi, describes her experience: she says she is grateful for the assistance she received.
