Description :
Training of trainers in international humanitarian law (IHL) at the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) training center in Kitona, in the province of Kongo Central. Forty-eight FARDC instructors took part. In addition to this training, an IHL parade was also held for 805 officers from various FARDC schools (artillery, infantry, air force, etc.). With the aim of promoting widespread awareness of IHL rules, four awareness-raising billboards bearing IHL messages were installed, with the support of volunteers from the DRC Red Cross, at strategic locations on the Kitona base.
