Description :
Ohoud, 22 years old, originally from Sudan but born and raised in Libya, was separated from her mother while fleeing Libya for Egypt in 2018 due to escalating conflict and threats they had received. Their car was attacked at the border, leading Ohoud to escape to Egypt, while her mother returned to Libya. Ohoud filed a tracing request with the ICRC to find her mother. After six years of separation and numerous attempts, her mother was finally able to reach Egypt and also contacted the ICRC to search for her daughter.
