Description :
Two years after the start of the conflict in Sudan, many families like Musa Elfadel's have been scattered across the country. Every day, they struggle to survive.
Musa Elfadel shares: At first, I couldn’t even bring myself to speak to them. I would ask my wife to send me videos. I could only watch them later, when I had the courage. I got used to it. Eventually, we could talk on the phone. Now, we even chat on video calls, they ask me, "dad, why do you look so old?" "You were young, your hair wasn’t this grey." I tell them, "It’s the weight of life." My little boy, keeps asking me to come home and not go ‘abroad' again, because that’s what I tell them, that I’m abroad. He keeps saying, "Come back father, don’t leave us again." These moments, they are the hardest.
