The ICRC welcomed Lukusa Donelle Grace, a participant in the "Ambassador for a Day" program organized by the British Embassy in Kinshasa.As the proponent of an ambitious project aimed at establishing an innovative community health insurance scheme for retired women, the young ambassador had the opportunity to explore several activities carried out by the ICRC. During this visit, she engaged with various teams and met with ICRC officials in the DRC. This experience allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of the ICRC's mandate and actions in support of people affected by conflicts, as well as to learn more about the retirement and social protection system for its employees.
