Victims and survivors of sexual violence face a wide range of physical, emotional, financial, and social barriers that prevent them from accessing assistance. Together with its Red Cross and Red Crescent partners, the ICRC has trained more than 1,000 staff members to engage in dialogue with community leaders, including law enforcement, religious authorities, and healthcare professionals.
