Description :
The situation in northern Uganda is deteriorating because of clashes between the rebels of the Lord's Resistance Army and government troops. Tens of thousands of displaced people have resettled on the plain. A distribution of tools and seed will soon enable them to become self-sufficient again. Because of the insecurity prevailing in the region, several thousand people go to the Gulu hospital every evening and spend the night in the compound. In the morning, the adults return to their villages and the children go to school.
