Description :
A hospital ship transporting 900 tons of relief supplies arrives in Lebanon. International Committee of the Red Cross' (ICRC) and national societies staff provide assistance to the civilian population affected by the war. They provide material assistance and moral support to homeless families, wounded persons and other people in need. They also try to find solutions for sanitory problems. Delegates of the Central Tracing Agency receive inquiries about missing persons and carry family messages. The last sequence focuses on assistance brought to thousands of displaced persons in the Bekaa Valley.
