Description :
Many things are already done. A lot of others are on the way to be done in matter of humanitarian assistance in Kosovo. Nevertheless, it's not an evidence for the civilian population to be well informed about what, where and how they can be supplied. Television but overall radio are some of the means to speak about.
In Pristina, the local television and radio networks started again since a couple of weeks to air their programmes. Eric Lehmann, a Swiss citizen and President of the Swiss Radio and Television society is actually in charge to reorganize these two media. Despite of some difficulties to let accept a complete independent network which shall target as well Serbian than Kosovar population, he fells confident to succeed and to be able to speak very soon about a real public service which responds to the expectations of all. Humanitarian information is part of the programme. On the field, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is distributing to poor families some radio sets with mechanic power. At an other place, near Malishevo, school buildings destroyed by the war are rebuilt and in Prizren, old Serbian people are convoyed for family reunion.
