Description :
Today, some six years after the beginning of the Rwandan crisis which left nearly 2 million Rwandan refugees, the painstaking and patient work of reuniting unaccompanied children separated from their families by the conflict, located both inside Rwanda and abroad, continues. The current figures speak for themselves, reflecting the size and success of the work carried out by humanitarian organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). To date, of the 74’739 Rwandan unaccompanied children who have been registered following the conflict, a total of 67119 have been reunited with their families.
