"The grave humanitarian problems caused by the spread and by the violence of the fighting in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, with repercussions in the surrounding countries, led the ICRC to launch a large-scale information campaign in southern Africa with a view to improving its protection and assistance to as many of the victims as possible. The documentary and other material produced by the PID in Geneva for the campaign included: a 16-mm colour film, "Challenge in Africa", shot in the country itself. It is available in eleven languages." (AR 1978, p. 66)
