Description :
In 1979, to rescue hundreds of thousands of Khmer people from hunger, disease, and death, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) had to take fast actions. Shelters were built, camps were organized, water and food were provided, and doctors and nurses were sent out in the region. It became one of the most extensive operation in the history of humanitarian aid. Four months later, this video tells more about the living conditions of Khmer refugees in Thailand.
